Hewn’s relocation to a new space in Evanston featured an almost 4,000 s.f. new baking facility in the rear of the shop. FC worked to ensure that this state-of-the-art facility, connected by a steel and glass breezeway, kept the intimate charm in the front of the house as the previous location. The customers can get a glance into the new pastry-making area through vintage windows surrounded by reclaimed wood that was all locally sourced.
